We traveled to Cardoso Island. It is located in the South coast of São Paulo state. The weather is rather cool at night, in the morning it is very sunny and in the afternoon it is usually hot. In this region it rains most of the year.
On Cardoso Island we saw diferent ecosystens like: the mangrove, the Atlantic rain forest, dunes , rocky shores, etc .We studied a lot there, but it was nice . We went to the mangrove and to the rocky shores. The mangrove is very disgusting because the ground is too soft and we got stuck in the mud . On the rocky shores there are many rocks with animals living there.
We couldn't sleep in Cardoso Island so we stayed in Golfinho Plaza hotel, in Cananeia city.
We ate dinner in a restaurant in Cananeia . We ate rice and beans, beef, simple food ,but it was delicious, we ate pizza too.
You should take with you a digital camera, sun protection lotion, insect repellent, a raincoat, simple clothes, a cap, and your material to take notes.
To get there you have to take rodovia Reges Bittencourt (BR 116), until you get to Cananeia. Then, there is a boat service to Cardoso Island.
